What simple thing still blows your mind?
Not very simple…but the advancement of technology over the last century. It is really incredible to look back 100 years and realize that it wasn’t many years prior that the first manned (airplane) flight took place in 1903. Nearly 60 years later, humans entered space in 1961 with far less technology than we have today. Looking at where the aviation and space industry has come is truly inspiring to me. I am so excited to work in a tech industry with such positive growth. I look forward to seeing where our minds can take us next!
If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?
I visited New Zealand once and I think I would be very satisfied living there (even beyond a year). The scenery and outdoor activities are unmatched. The culture also embraces island life and is very eco-friendly, which I aspire to be. Plus, they all have fun accents!
What color describes your personality?
I like teal a lot...
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A zookeeper
What’s a quote you choose to live by?
“Decide who you want to be before you decide what you have to do”
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy baking and being outdoors with my dog, Miley. I also tap dance!
Who is someone you look up to and why?
All of the women in my family taught me to be independent and to shoot for the stars. I look up to them as strong and admirable role models for the things they have overcome and thank them for their endless encouragement and support of me.
